Program Structure
Unlock the doors to a comprehensive and blended curriculum that seamlessly integrates online learning with invaluable in-person sessions.
Your pathway consists of:
- 12 Remarkable Weeks: A fast-tracked, intensive program designed to catapult you into your new career.
- Flexible Scheduling: Classes convene Wednesday and Thursdays from 6-8 PM and Saturday from 8AM-5 PM.
- Hands-on Experience: Dive deep into real-world dental assisting practices with engaging laboratory and operatory exercises.
Blended Learning Experience
Harness the power of online and offline worlds:
- Online Convenience: Engage with 25 hours of captivating online content, accessible anytime, ensuring flexibility and convenience.
- In-Person Mastery: Revel in 80 immersive in-person hours, fostering a space for practical mastery and enriched learning experiences.
Admission Criteria
Our doors are open to passionate individuals ready to soar. Here are the only requirements:
- Age: students should be over 18 years of age.
- Educational Qualifications: a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Career-Ready Certifications
Certification is important for potential employers as they seek to hire qualified candidates. We understand the importance of certification and are confident in the preparation provided to our graduates. For the Dental Assisting National Board students will need to qualify test, have a written exam to the DANB and radiology, in addition to 3,500 work hours.

Dental Assisting
Course Outline
• WEEK 01 •
General introduction to the exciting field of Dentistry, including your orientation to our clinic and dental terminology.
• WEEK 02 •
Four-handed dentistry, instrumental transfer, isolation techniques, suctioning (HVE), local anesthesia, patient positioning, handpiece maintenance, sealants and coronal polishing.
• WEEK 03 •
Radiology theory and practice of intraoral and extraoral X-ray techniques, X-ray safety, darkroom procedures.
• WEEK 04 •
Amalgam and composite materials, instruments, mixing, curing, tubs, trays.
• WEEK 05 •
Cements and liners, alginate impressions (upper arch), model pouring and trimming, X-ray quiz. CPR Training.
• WEEK 06 •
Midterm exam. Oral surgery, periodontal instruments and materials, sterilization procedures, alginate impressions (lower arch).
• WEEK 07 •
Crown and bridge instruments and materials, making temporary restorations, bite registration.
• WEEK 08 •
Endodontic materials and instruments, orthodontics, job interview skills.
• WEEK 10•
Final exam and practical
exam.
• WEEK 11 •
Externship.
Meet The Team
Dr. Hollowwa, DDS, Owner

Dr. Hollowwa is excited to be a part of such a great dental team at Enchantment Dental Assisting School! His goal for each patient is to help them have a great experience and to enjoy coming into the office.
Dr. Hollowwa graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Rice University before moving on to Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2014. After practicing at Isleta Pueblo for a couple of years, he moved to private practice in 2016 and has been helping smiles ever since. Dr. Hollowwa is certified in CAD/CAM technology, is a member of the American Dental Association® and the Spear study club and attends study club meetings each month to stay up to date on trainings and advancements in his field.
Dr. Hollowwa has been married for ten years. In his free time, he likes to fish and ski.
Dr. John Davis, DDS, Owner

Dr. John Davis is proud to be part of the dedicated team at Enchantment Dental Assisting School. Dr. Davis’ goal is to ensure every patient gets quality dental care in a welcoming and professional environment.
Dr. Davis graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 1993. After graduation, he chose to make New Mexico his home and has been providing excellent dental care for over 30 years. Dr. Davis has been part of the American Dental Association® for 33 years and is certified in CAD/CAM technology. To stay up to date on the latest advancements and dental practices, Dr. Davis attends the West Side Study Club for ongoing education in his field.
Dr. Davis has been married 29 years and has 2 children who also have careers in the dental field. When he has free time, he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and watching sports.
Dr. Gribble, DDS, Owner

Dr. Gribble is thrilled to be a part of the amazing team at Enchantment Dental Assisting School. His goal is to provide each patient with a positive experience in a compassionate, welcoming, and well-informed setting.
Dr. Gribble graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio with his Bachelor of Science in 1997. After graduation, Dr. Gribble spent a year teaching middle school science. The following year, he joined AmeriCorps VISTA in Little Rock, Arkansas. While serving in AmeriCorps, his focus was providing education and resources to improve oral hygiene to low income communities. After his time in AmeriCorps, he attended Creighton University School of Dentistry where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2003. He then began practicing at First Choice Community Care Healthcare clinic in Belen. In 2005, he transitioned to private practice and became a partner in 2006. Dr. Gribble is a member of the American Dental Association®, is certified in CAD/CAM technology, and attends study clubs to help keep informed on training and advancements in the dental field.
Dr. Gribble has been married for twenty one years and is a dedicated father of three. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, riding bikes, and skiing.
Felicia, RDH, Instructor

Felicia is proud to begin her new role at Enchantment Dental Assisting School. Her focus has always been on providing genuine, quality dental care for every patient that she assists.
Felicia graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2010 with her license in dental assisting. She went back to PIMA in 2021 to get her license in dental hygiene and has an overall 15 years of experience in the dental field.
Felicia was born and raised in Albuquerque and enjoys living here. She has three dogs and two cats that she loves to spend time with when she’s not working.
Brittany, Licensed Dental Assistant, Instructor
Brittany is honored to be a part of the dedicated team at Enchantment Dental Assisting School. Her goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where every patient is cared for.
Brittany graduated in 2009 with honors from PIMA Medical Institute. She has been practicing in Albuquerque for sixteen years as a licensed dental assistant.
Brittany was born in Vermont before moving to Albuquerque in 2002. When she’s not working on dental patients, she has a small floral business that caters weddings and other events.
